Compassionate, Evidence-Based Therapy in Los Angeles
Helping adults, teens, and parents build lives that feel meaningful and worth living.

I’m Dr. Katie Strang (she/her), a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about helping people create meaningful change through evidence-based therapy. I provide DBT and CBT treatment in Los Angeles and online across California, working collaboratively with adults, adolescents, and parents to help them regulate emotions, reduce distress, and build the lives they want.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, reactive, or unsure how to move forward, therapy can help you find stability, confidence, and self-understanding — one skill at a time.
My Approach: Structured, Supportive, and Collaborative
I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — two gold-standard, evidence-based treatments that teach practical tools for managing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I approach therapy as a partnership. We’ll set goals together, develop concrete strategies, and track progress as you gain new insights and skills. Sessions are compassionate, structured, and designed to help you apply what we discuss in real life.
I’m also an LGBTQIA+ allied clinician who values inclusivity, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care. Every client deserves to feel seen, respected, and supported in therapy.
